Iron Sharpens Iron

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

God created us for connection and interaction with one another. Left to ourselves we tend to believe our own press. No one is to be an island unto themselves.

Guard yourself from deception and small thinking. Allow others to speak into your life. Receive one another. Listen to different viewpoints. Be able to discuss issues without ego. These are key to healthy dialogues.

Develop the skill of active listening. God often speaks through those around you, if you have ears to hear.

Mental sharpness and healthy thinking comes from being around good people who engage in respectful conversation.

Mentorship/coaching are forms of discipleship that we are wise to pursue.

Being a mentor or a coach to another is also a key to your growth spiritually and emotionally. Sharpen yourself one another for His glory.
