"Don't Be Alarmed!"

"Don't be alarmed,' the angel said, 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here...But go, tell His disciples and Peter...'"  Mark 16:5-7

Imagine the mixed emotions of the women who went to Jesus' tomb. They wanted to anoint His body to cover the smell of decay. They saw Him crucified. They expected Him to be in the tomb. Their hope that He was the Messiah felt dashed. It was over!

Yet, here sat an angel waiting for their arrival.  He gave them a message they had no expectation to hear. "He is not here. He has risen!"

We often fixate on an expected outcome. Then, suddenly, God opens our mind and heart to the fact that HE IS GOD and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HIM.

Trust God with what you face today. You might have it all planned out how God should come through for you. You might be going through the motions thinking, "I'm finished." BUT GOD...

You serve a resurrected Christ, the Anointed One, the Lord of all. Keep trusting, believing and expecting. He's got you!

• Recall a time you felt it was all over for you...but God showed up!
• Sing Him a song of praise thanking Him for His resurrection power.
• Great is our God and He is worthy to be praised.
