The POWER of GOD

"When the day of Pentecost came...suddenly a sound...came from heaven and filled the whole house...they saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. ALL of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." Acts 2:1-4

"Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?" Acts 19:2

This question is still relevant today. John the Baptist spoke of this experience in Luke 3:16. The prophet Joel also spoke of this outpouring in Joel 2:28-29

Notice "tongues of fire...came to rest on EACH of them." "ALL of them were filled with the Holy Spirit..."

God loves to pour out His Spirit on His kids. Picture a parent with a child they love with all their heart. They want to pour out all their love on them in the fullest measure possible. I remember kissing my babies and grand baby with "kisses all over" to lavish upon them my delight in them.

Pray in your prayer language, in tongues. It is the conduit, the pipeline of communication between God's Spirit and your spirit. Allow His love, His power, His grace, His wisdom, His perfect peace to be lavished upon you.

He delights in you in the most amazing way.

Apostle Paul said he prayed in tongues more than anyone. He wasn't bragging. He was expressing how much he must rely upon the power of the Holy Spirit to be Christlike in his words, deeds and actions.

Regularly pray in your prayer language.
Regularly surrender your tongue and your life to the Lord.
Regularly revive your spirit praying in the Holy Spirit throughout the day.
Receive the POWER of GOD daily. It's available to you.

Suggestion: Set a timer for 5 minutes. Pray in the Holy Spirit with abandonment. Ahhhh, how sweet it is!
