Another word for power is ability.
How is ability acquired? Practice, practice, practice.
Through practice our skills develop and our wisdom increases in how to function with the ability we are acquiring. This breeds confidence which emboldens and therefore empowers.

It’s been my experience, however, that the majority of believers don’t or won’t put the effort in to become skilled in their most important task Jesus gave us to do while we remain on the earth.
Therefore, they remain weak and hesitant to minister to others in Jesus’ Name. So sad!
Therefore, they have little, if any, power when it comes to the job Jesus entrusted to us. Wow!
Let’s take stock of our skills, put in some quality practice and seek to excel so that we can bring honor to Him who has chosen us to represent Him and advance His kingdom, not ours.
